River Walk Pedestrian Foot Bridge

The project generally consists of the construction of a pedestrian footbridge. The work shall include providing all equipment, tools, materials, labor, transportation, supplies, and services required to design, fabricate, and deliver to the project site as indicated in the Project Documents and Special Provisions. The intent of the contract is to provide for the fabrication and completion in every detail of the work described. Bid items are to include, but not limited to all labor, equipment, materials, mobilization and demobilization required to complete the work shown on the drawings and described within the specifications. Bridge Manufacturers other than those listed below may be used provided they are pre-approved in writing by the Municipal Engineer five (5) days prior to bid and they meet or exceed all the following specifications. The bridge manufacturer shall have been in the business of design and fabrication of bridges for a minimum of five years, provide a list of five successful bridge projects, of similar construction, each of which has been in service at least three years and shall have an AISC Quality Certification.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Bases, Ballasts, and Paving, Flexible Paving, Rigid Paving, Fences and Gates, Retaining Walls.
Division 34 -	Transportation, Bridges.
