Description

The contractor shall furnish all components, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, connections, and accessories to remove and replace two rooftop direct expansion units/air handling units (AHU)s with two rooftop chillers and matching air handling units for two complete and usable systems. Each chiller will have to provide a cooling capacity of approximately 20 tons. Due to the critical electronic systems installed, one chiller unit will be the lead, and the other will be a backup unit. The chillers will have the ability to automatically switch between lead and lag unit at a set time interval to ensure even run times. The chillers will be capable of operating in an ambient temperatures from -20°F to 120°F. Once the chiller units have been installed, the contractor will perform start up inspection and tuning services to optimize performance. The new system will utilize exiting copper lines for chilled water supply and return and control wires.
