Description

The City reserves the right to reject all bids or accept any bid, which in its sole and absolute judgment, shall under all circumstances best serve the City's interests. All bids shall be on separate City Bid Forms and in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the name of the project "Indoor Shooting Range Shooting Stalls" in the lower left-hand corner. The City of Rawlins reserves the right to accept deviations from the specifications and to waive any and all formalities or technicalities in the bidding in the sole discretion of the City. All bids must remain open for forty-five (45) days after the date of opening of the bids as the City may require that time period for acceptance of the winning bid. A bid guarantee is required pursuant to W. S.15-1-113(f); each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee, in the form as stated in the General Provisions, in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid, to be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages in the event the bidder, upon the letting of the contract to him, fails to enter into the contract within thirty (30) days after it is presented for that purpose or fails to proceed with the performance of the contract No faxed or email bids shall be considered, and no bids will be considered which are received after the scheduled time
