Description

For SUM-CR29-5.72 Graham Road/Fishcreek Road Intersection Improvements [PID 111728] in accordance with the specifications on file in the Public Service Department. Detailed information, blank proposals, and complete specifications may be obtained from the Chief of Staff/Director of Public Service. Bidders must use the forms and computer disk provided. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party(ies) making the same, and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must furnish with its proposal a bid guaranty and contract bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity, and list all subcontractors to be used. Bidders must comply with the laws governing the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to persons employed on public improvements and with all EEO regulations. Disadvantage Business Requirement - the DBE Goal is 7%. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of the bid, at the time of the award, and through the life of the construction contract. The City of Stow reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid in part or in whole, which is deemed most favorable to the City of Stow at the time and under the conditions stipulated.
