Norris Cotton Upper Parking Deck Coating Replacement

A project has been developed to replace the outside parking deck coating system at the Norris Cotton Federal Building (NCFB). The work involves stripping the multi-layered polyurethane based coating system down to the concrete substrate in preparation for a new minimum three part UV resistant traffic rated polyurethane coating system. There are a number of expansion joints that are to be prepped and reworked. There are several linear feet of vertical to horizontal joints to be prepped and reworked. The expansion joints and other caulked joints are to be compatible with the polyurethane coating system selected. Parking lines are to be restored to the same pattern as currently present. As an option several hundred linear feet of polyurethane caulking on the remainder of the NCFB site are to be priced for joint repair / replacement subject to the availability of funds. The polyurethane caulking is to be within the same UV resistant exterior rated system as will be used on the parking deck repair.
