John Stafford Slide Phase II AML

During the recent heavy rain event, some slide material has slid against the house and it appears that there may be more that will come down. The proposed project is to excavate behind the house, slope the highwall back to a stable configuration, install drainage control with subdrain ditches and culverts. A debris barrier wall will be constructed to protect the house. This project site is located on Route 292 approximately 5.3 miles past the City of South Williamson. Heading north on US 119 turn left onto Route 292 at South Williamson. Go 5.3 miles and turn left into the first driveway after passing the Muncy Wrecked Car lot. Lat. N 37.71142, Long W 82.31142 Silt Barrier – Bales & Silt Fence is setup to prevent sediment from leave the project limits. The material will be excavated and hauled to a waste site. Positive drainage with a subdrain and ditching will be established behind the house.
