Description

Provide catastrophic wildfire prevention by thinning and clearing standing live and dead pinyon, maple, oak and juniper trees and saplings with a chainsaw and piling the material to be burned. This task order includes the Contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals. Project area totals approximately 22 acres as identified on attached site map. Work under this contract is located approximately 3 miles northeast of Mount Pleasant, in Sanpete County, Utah. This fuel break will border the Aspen Hills and Willow Glen Homeowner’s Associations. Elevations range from 6,600 to 7,300 feet within the project site and slopes range from 0-46%. The treatment boundaries will not be flagged, the contractor is responsible for following GPS polygons indicated and provided by FFSL. The work location is shown on the general location and site map.
