Description

Secure the services of two or more experienced contractor(s) who are capable of efficiently removing large volumes of disaster-generated debris from a large area in a timely and cost-effective manner and lawfully disposing of all debris and documentation of activities according to FEMA regulations. The services include assembling, directing, and managing a work force that can successfully complete the debris removal and disposal operations according to all applicable rules and regulations. Selected contractors will be expected to begin providing services within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of a Notice to Proceed and to provide sufficient workforce to complete an initial roadway first pass of within twenty eight (28) days and remaining services in less than 90 days. Debris removal will generally be limited to debris in, upon, or brought to public streets and roads, right-of-ways, municipal properties and facilities, and other public sites, unless otherwise directed.
