Description | Complete removal and replacement of approximately 825 feet of Houghton Road from State Route 8 (Northfield Road) to 165 feet west of Vorderman Avenue in the Village of Northfield. The Houghton Road work includes the complete replacement of the 30 foot wide asphalt roadway and base and concrete curb and gutter with 9 inch reinforced concrete pavement with aggregate base and integral concrete curb, new 6 inch underdrain, new 5 foot concrete walk and new concrete driveway aprons and new 12 inch and 15 inch RCP storm sewer system with catch basins. Work also includes installing a new traffic mast arm mounted signal system at the intersection of Houghton Road and State Route 8, and replacing the existing messenger wire traffic signals at Maple Avenue and State Route 8 and at the Fire Station Driveway and State Route 8 with new mast arm mounted signals | ||||||||
