Description | Sealed bids for the Granular Activated Carbon Addition project. The work includes installing two granular activated carbon (GAC)adsorption systems, upgrading the intermediate pumps, installing VFDs on the intermediate pumps and VFDs on the high service pumps, replacing the existing water treatment control panel and constructing two buildings. The work also in includes site piping, site grading, asphalt, and concrete work, electrical, sanitary, plumbing, and site restoration. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided within these Bid Documents. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Athens County as determined by the Davis-BaconFederal Wage Determinations. Comply with the Davis-Bacon Act. Successful bidder will need to provide a Unique Entity Identifier(UEI) before award of contract. The Engineers estimate for this project is $7,400,000.00. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. In the event that the Owner is unable to obtain an Agreement with the Bidder initially selected, the Owner may award the contract to the next bid, most favorable to the Owner. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid whichis deemed to be the lowest and best bid. |
