Description

The project proposes to rehabilitate the 30th Street Bridge. This bridge was built in 1929 and is 326 feet long, 73 feet wide. This work includes replacing the earth filled arches, adding a crash-tested pedestrian rail, and replacing existing wearing surfaces and lighting fixtures. The four (4) existing travel lanes will be increased from 10 feet to 11 feet with 1-foot curbs for a clear roadway width of 46 feet. The width of the White River Greenway over the bridge will be reduced from approximately 17 feet 1¼ inch to 15 feet 3 inches to allow for the rail installation. 30th Street over White River
