Repair Streets & Parking

The work will include, but not be limited to: new work, reconstruction, rehabilitation, and repairs. Specialty trade contractors are included in this industry; if they are engaged in activities primarily related to highway, street, and bridge construction (e.g., installing guardrails on highways). This requirement will call for one CLIN. CLIN 0001 will repair streets and various parking locations. Additionally CLIN 0001 will include two additive option plans for construction. Additive option plan one includes all work for the base scope, and is differentiated by the construction of a single lane roundabout at the intersection of Spacelift Street and Matador Street. Additive option plan two will add work on Challenger St. that will call for demolition of paved surfaces, base course, curbing & drainage structures. Option two Installs new road base & grade to provide positive drainage. Plan two also will repave Challenger Street from Falcon St. to Spacelift Ave. & install concrete curbing & drainage structure to include removal of paving & replacing drainage structures to include removal of paving & replace infiltration round concrete piping (RCP) in the parking on the south side of west end of Challenger St. that calls for repaving areas over replaced RCP and installing sod on unpaved disturbed areas. Contractors will provide an independent bid response for all plans associated with CLIN 0001. The government will select the plan that is the most beneficial to the government and results in a complete and usable roadway.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Drainage Structures.
