Masonic Care Community - Scenic Overlook

The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, the placement of stone benches, stone stairways, flag poles, concrete stairs, concrete sidewalk, pavers, and a new wooden deck. The work also includes an underground concrete vault, electrical conduit piping, underdrain piping, and other miscellaneous work. This project includes a base bid and an alternate and the drawings show all work, with the Base Bid work, highlighted in red on sheet C100. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to the Engineer and will be accepted until Monday, February 20th, 2023. A performance and payment bond will not be required from the selected contractor for proposals less than $100,000, However the Owner may require another form of security forfaithful performance. Sample forms for bid, bid bonds, performance and payment bonds and construction contract documents are included in this package. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding.No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the OWNER. The General Municipal Law of the State of New York requiresthat bidders certify, under penalty of perjury, that bids have been prepared without collusion with other bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. This certification is included within the Bid Form. MBE/WBE/DBE's are encouraged to submit.
