Highway Department Exterior Building Renovation Siding and Roofing project

The work is to be performed in accordance with the proposed Exterior Building Renovation Siding and Roofing Bid Specifications. The proposed specifications can be obtained at the request of the Township Highway Commissioner Thomas Ward by emailing Jdylik@troytownship.com. Upon receipt of a completed Specification Holder form, prospective bidders will become Registered Specification Holders. During the bidding period, the office of the Highway Commissioner will send out project addenda, clarifications, and other project information to Registered Specification Holders via the email address(es) listed on the Specification Holder form on file in the Highway Commissioner's office. It is each bidder's responsibility to satisfactorily complete the bidding process described in the specifications. The required documents must be delivered along with the bidder's sealed bid at the same place and time required for the bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Bank Draft in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid and made payable to Troy Township Highway Department, 25358 Seil Rd., Shorewood, Will County, Illinois. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the Owner. Checks or drafts of unsuccessful bidders will be returned as soon as practical after opening and checking the bids. Successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract, acceptable to Owner. This Contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et.seq.). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
