A summary of the work items is included below: Removal & disposal of existing underdrains & filter media, rehab of the existing filter boxes to include leveling the concrete filter bottom, installation of new filter underdrains and media, and the addition of protective coatings to the interior of the steel filter boxes. Owner to provide filter underdrains and media. Work of constructing the project will be let under 1 Contract if an award should be made; & Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner.
