Description | Consists of labor, equipment, materials and incidentals necessary to provide routine mechanized road and/or bridge sweeping to clean and remove sand, soil, paper, glass, cans, and other debris along the State Roadways in St. Lucie, Martin, and Indian River Counties. Section 0001 Road Sweeping (Mechanical) (Cm) e110- 31- Sweeping (Mechanical) Pm 2,478.000 budgeted amount of $75,000.00 and not the contractor`s bid total. There is no guarantee of minimum or maximum amount to be issued under this contract. ????RENEWAL: This contract has a renewal option. This Contract will have 2 renewal periods of 12 months each. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE - Bidders must be a "Small Business" as defined by FDOT. Small business size standards can be found at https://www.fdot.gov/equalopportunity/bdi.shtm. Bidders must complete and submit the Small Business Affidavit (Form No. 275-000-01) for approval prior to receipt of bid documents. The form may be accessed at: https://www.fdot.gov/equalopportunity/bdi.shtm It is only necessary to submit the Small Business Affidavit (SBA) form once per year. Send a completed and notarized affidavit as an attachment to: fdot.bdi@dot.state.fl.us. All Sublet work must be contracted to a small business or businesses as defined by the Department. The subcontractor must also submit a notarized Small Business Affidavit Form provided by the Department prior to the start of work. Bidders must submit the BDI Reference Sheet (Form No. 275-000-02) with the bid unless bidder is prequalified in the project`s major work type, per Rule 14-22, Florida Administrative Code. Upload the completed BDI Reference Sheet (Form No. 275-000-02) as a zip file using the "File Attachment Upload" folder in the Expedite application. BDI Reference Sheet may be found at: https://www.fdot.gov/equalopportunity/bdi.shtm Proposal Guaranty of $500 is required for bids over $150,000 and may be in the form of a Cashier`s Check, the BDI Bid or Proposal Bond (Form No. 375-020-16), or the standard Bid or Proposal Bond form, Form No. 375-020-09). A Contract Bond is not required for contracts $250,000.00 and less. |
