Air Cargo Apron Concrete Hard Stand

*As of August 22, 2022, a contractor has been awarded. Construction is scheduled to begin in late August 2022 and end in early October 2022. This project generally includes the demolition of existing bituminous asphalt for a portion of the air cargo apron and the installation of a new concrete hard stand. Additionally, some crack sealing of the existing apron is included. Bidders are advised that this contract will require the contractor and subcontractors to pay prevailing wage rates as a minimum in accordance with the current State Wage Rate Schedules. Bidders shall be advised that this contract requires participation by certified disadvantaged businesses as follows: M/WBE Goal: 30%; SDVOB Goal: 6%. The Owner reserves the right to reject a bidder's proposal if the submitted proposal is from a person, partnership, firm, or corporation that is not on the plan holders list. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum proposal price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents Questions regarding the bidding of this project shall be directed, in writing only, to Christopher Brubach, C&S Engineers, Inc., at cbrubach@cscos.com.
