Construction of a New 156-Bed Dormitory

The full extent of the service to be performed will be described in the solicitation, which may follow at a later date. However, a summary of the services to be performed are provided as follows. As previously noted, this work requires design-build (design and construction) service for a new two-story, 156-bed dormitory building totaling approximately 35,000 GSF. The design of the building shall be consistent with the architectural vernacular of the Center and in conformance with the latest Department of Labor dormitory Prototype Design guidelines. Also included in the services are investigative topographic and geotechnical surveys, landscaping, storm drainage upgrade, and access roads. The design and construction shall meet all Federal, State, and local code requirements.
