Description

Construction of Southeast Lift Station Improvements, consisting of: Construct approximately 7,702 Linear Feet of 36-inch PVC Gravity Interceptor with PVC Sewer Pipe Material supplied by Moore Public Works Authority. Contractor shall install 28 Six feet diameter manholes & one junction box equipped with two sluice gates, to transport wastewater from the existing 34" Street Lift Station Site to the new Southeast Lift Station located east of Sunny Lane on Indian Hills Road. All work shall be performed and all construction and material used and furnished shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by Eagie Consultants, Inc., and on file in the office of the Purchasing Agent, for the Moore Public Works Authority / City of Moore, Oklahoma. The time for completion is 300 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be $250.00 per calendar day. Each Bidder shal] accompany his original bid, filed with the Purchasing Agent, with a certified or Cashier's Check on a solvent bank located in Oklahoma or a Bidder's Bond, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount bid, as a guarantee of his ability to perform the contract bid upon, and that he will enter into a written contract with the Owner to perform said work and/or furnish said materials in accordance with said plans and specifications and furnish the required bonds within seven (7) days after the acceptance of his bid. The Owner will retain the deposit, and use it for liquidated damages in case the successful bidder fails to enter in said contract and furnish the required bonds provided for in the specifications within the time required. Deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon the execution of the Contract and required bonds. Each bidder shail accompany his bid with a sworn statement in writing that the Bidder has not directly or indirectly entered into an agreement, expressed or implied, with any other bidder concerning the price or amount of such bid or any bids, the limiting of the bids or bidders, the paying to anyone any money for promotion expenses, the parceling or farming out to any bidder or bidders or other persons of any part of the contract or any part of the subject matter of the bid or of the profits thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any & all bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act.
