| Description | The scope of work generally includes replacement of approximately seven (7) stories of waste and vent stacks, replacement of existing waste and vent pipe above the 3rd floor ceiling that are connected to risers D4 and E4, and associated demolition of architectural features to access existing piping and repair of walls, floors and ceilings, including new partitions and finishes. The work will be performed in occupied areas of an operating Hospital facility under strict infection control, interim life safety, and security requirements to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and contractors. The general contractor should have experience as a general contractor (not as a construction manager, program manager, etc.) with the implementation and maintenance of interim life safety measures and Infection Control provisions in an operating Hospital environment. |
