Replace Steel Grating in Springwells High Lift Header Vault

1. Replace approximately 250 sq ft. of steel grating. Must be able to withstand 100 psf. 2. Replace 20 metal-grate stair treads, . 30” x 11” x ¾”. 3. Replacement/repair of 2’ of stair stringers in pipe gallery. Where in the pipe gallery Stairway in NW corner of Header Vault, and stairway in SE corner of Header Vault. 4. Replacement/repair of handrail posts at 4 locations in pipe gallery. (1- ½” o.d. rail). Same locations as stair stringer replacement. 5. Replacement of support/bracing steel at 2 locations in the pipe gallery. Where in the pipe gallery? Xbracing in the NW corner of the Header Vault and I-beam in SW corner of Header Vault. 6. Re-secure loose grating sections at various locations in the pipe gallery, using swivel locks, saddle clip or c-clips, of steel construction. Where in the pipe gallery At various locations throughout Header Vault. 7. Unbolt and remove from the site, the existing stair and railing in the northeast corner of the header vault. See attached pictures. 8. Replacement steel quote with no primer and paint finish and must be galvanized steel. What are the Galvanized steel specifications Type, hardness, tensile strength? Any environmental limitations? Hot-Dip Galvanized complying with the requirements and recommendation of ASTM A123/A123M
