Mechanical Engineering Services

The work include mechanical consultation services for mechanical equipment or systems in County-owned and/or County-leased properties, as well as due-diligence inspections for potential Jefferson County building acquisitions. Services may also include inspection of building equipment or systems to establish items such as useful life/serviceability, energy efficiency, code compliance evaluations, and to update a 5- year replacement and repair schedule. The Mechanical Consultant shall furnish all drawings in electronic AutoCAD format utilizing design and layer standards acceptable to the County preferably in AutoCAD 2020, but a minimum of AutoCAD 2018 – DWG format. All files shall be transferred to Jefferson County on a USB Drive, and shall include all documentation and ASCII.txt files describing pertinent information including a list of layers, drawing strategies, color-pen designations, line weights, etc.
