Crack Sealing Contract

his project proposes to apply a preventative maintenance treatment to seal cracks, joint overlays and some limited pavement repair in the pavement. This work will help to maintain and extend the life of the pavement surface and keeps the highway system in a state of good repair at the following locations: 1. Southern State Parkway from Grand Avenue/Baldwin Road to the Nassau/Suffolk Line in the Towns of Hempstead and Oyster Bay, Nassau County 2. Southern State Parkway from the Nassau/Suffolk Line to NY110 (Broad Hollow Road) in the Town of Babylon, Suffolk County 3. Southern State Parkway from NY231 (Deer Park Avenue) to Sagtikos State Parkway in the Towns of Babylon and Islip, Suffolk County 4. NY27 (Sunrise Highway) North Service Road from Manor Road to Udall Road in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 5. NY27 (Sunrise Highway) South Service Road from Udall Road to Malts Avenue in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 6. NY111 (Islip Avenue) from County Route 100 (Suffolk Avenue) to Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 7. NY25A from Lawrence Road to NY25 (West Main Street) in the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County 8. NY114 (Sag Harbor Turnpike) from Stephen Hands Path to the South Ferry in the Town of East Hampton and Southampton, Suffolk County. This Project is Located in the Capital District Region and Includes the Following: Counties Nassau As of January 19, 2023, The current status of the project is Future Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Spring 2025. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2025. Construction is expected to be completed in Spring 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP).
