Annual Supply and Delivery of Rings and Covers, Dot Grate

Questions regarding this invitation to bid should be in writing and should reference the Bid number. Note: This Annual Service Requirement, if placed, shall be Firm and Valid through September 30, 2023, with an Option for Four (4), One (1) Year Renewals upon Mutual Written Consent. The city is requesting the services of a qualified and experienced manufacturer and/or supplier to deliver (f.O.B. Delivered with full freight allowed) to furnish and deliver the required annual supply of ring and cover, dot grates and special order grates for the use of the city of lakeland public works construction and maintenance division and various other city departments as required. These materials shall be in accordance with the florida d.O.T. Standard specifications for road and bridge construction, 2022 edition, section 425-3.2. The manhole covers and inlet covers shall incorporate the city of lakeland's designed logo as shown on attached specifications. The projected annual quanitity required for the construction, maintenance division is estimated to be a total of forty thousand ($40,000). Twenty thousand ($20,000) for the following usf 465 ring & oc cover, usf 1266 ring & me cover, usf 420 ring & oc cover, 1182 ring & me cover, and usf 5130 frame, hood and 6168 grate. Twenty thousand ($20,000) for various fdot grates and special order grates that are used throughout the city of lakeland. These annual estimated quantities are for bidding purposes only and are only an approximation based on prior usage and anticipated needs. These are not guaranteed purchase quantities. The bids submitted and the purchase order, if awarded, shall be in complete accordance with, without limitation, this invitation to bid, specification, all codes, requirements and regulations referenced therein.
