| Description | Provide construction inspection services for roadway surface improvements extending approximately 3,500 linear feet along Highland Street from the Rocky Hill town line to Thornbush Road. The Town has been awarded $987,600 in Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP) Funds from the CT Department of Transportation through the Capitol Region Council of Governments for construction of this project, which incorporates “complete streets” enhancements to improve safety for vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians in Wethersfield and the surrounding Towns. Work primarily includes pavement milling, paving, replacement of curb and driveway aprons as needed, and installation of new sidewalk ramps, crosswalks and associated signage. |
