2021 Inflow and Infiltration Project

The scope of the 2021 Inflow & Infiltration Project consists of the cleaning, televised inspection, pressure testing and grouting of joints, and cured-in-place manhole to manhole lining of the sanitary sewer mains, as well as manhole rehabilitation and televised inspection of sanitary laterals, in Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Contractor shall chemically seal only the joints that are determined to be leaking as a result of the pressure test. The grout or chemical joint sealant shall have a root inhibitor admixture. Each joint should be pressure tested prior to the grouting operation. Any manholes that are visibly leaking shall be brought to the attention of the Resident Inspector or Engineer prior to sealing any manholes. The Engineer or Resident Inspector will advise the Contractor where to perform “if and where directed” work. All sanitary laterals must be inspected from the sanitary sewer main to the cleanout.
