Secure Facility Operations, Maintenance, and Security (SFOMS)

The Naval Research Laboratory Code 1200 seeks contractor services for the operation, maintenance, and security of several secure facilities located at the Naval Research Laboratory Washington, DC site. Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Service" 3.1.3.1 The Contractor shall operate and perform preventative maintenance on all air conditioning and ventilation systems in Buildings A and B. [CDRL A003] These systems include central chilled water plants, direct expansion air conditioning systems, mechanical ventilation air handling systems, pneumatic controls, variable air volume devices, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, unit heaters, centrifugal pumps, cooling towers, chemical treatment equipment, steam distribution, variable frequency drives, electric motors and all other HVAC related equipment. The Contractor shall, test, analyze, and maintain the proper chemical balance of water in the heating and cooling equipment. [CDRL A007] Electrical Service: 3.1.4.1 The Contractor shall perform preventative maintenance and corrective actions as needed on all electrical systems in and around Buildings A and B, excluding pole lighting. [CDRL A003] 3.1.4.2 The Contractor shall perform detailed inspections, routine electrical maintenance, and equipment installation in laboratories.
