Building 40 and 1A Consolidation Project - Design Excellence

This acquisition encompasses the design and construction of the office and related space as required for the BLM COSO Consolidation. Building 40 and 1A are located on the Denver Federal Center campus (Lakewood, Colorado) which is bound by Kipling Street to the east, 6th Avenue to the north, Simms Street to the west, and Alameda Avenue to the south. The Denver Federal Center campus is a secured campus. Although open to the general public, a valid government issued ID must be presented at each entry point guard station. The total space requirement consists of approximately 55,294 combined gross square feet (B40 is approximately 50,092 gross square feet and B1A is approximately 5,202 gross square feet), available for use by the agency for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The building will be designed and constructed in English units.
