Facilities Assessment Program

Professional Services Firms experienced in the assessment of existing buildings. The work will consist of the following: The Scope of Services involves performing Building Assessments for the City Facilities Tier I listed below and, on Exhibit A-1 Price Submittal Form provided: a. Peck Center b. Peck Gymnasium c. Atlantic Ave. Recreation Center d. MLK Center e. City of Fernandina Beach Police Station f. City of Fernandina Beach Golf Course Clubhouse g. Fire Station No. 1 h. Wastewater Treatment Plant Bldg. i. Airport Maintenance Hangars A & B j. Library k. Existing City Hall Bldg. l. Airport T-Hangars 1, 2, & 3 m. Water Treatment Plant No.1 The Consultant’s work will consist of identifying, locating, and quantifying any issues, concerns, deterioration, deferred maintenance, necessary upgrades and any apparent code issues as it relates to, but not limited to: a. Structure/building envelope integrity, both exterior and interior b. Architectural features including roofing, doors, windows, ceilings, walls, floor systems, etc. c. HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems d. Hallways, stairs, elevators, etc. e. Fire & Life Safety systems f. Waterproofing systems f. Performance of ADA, Energy, and Air Quality audits
