The project is located at 3030 11 th Ave Dr SE, Hickory, North Carolina. All bidders are notified that Catawba County has a verifiable five percent (5%) goal for participation by minority owned and women owned businesses in the total value of Work for which prime contractors are awarded pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes Section 143-128. All bidders are hereby notified that all contractors and sub-contractors working on the project site shall comply with Catawba County Substance Abuse/Drug-Free Policy and Catawba County Smoke-Free Policy. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after receipt of bids except as provided in Instructions to Bidders. All bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed under the state laws governing their prospective trades. Bidders are also notified that applicable provisions of Chapter 87 of the General Statutes of the State of North Carolina shall be observed in the receiving of bids and awarding of contracts for the Work. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and/or all bids.
