Description | Project No-190.800.000, 190.800.001 The Fund's project specific goals for this project are 5% MBE and 5% WBE and 3% SDV The work of this single bid project includes construction of a new water treatment building, new elevated concrete water storage tank, and new pre-chlorination building. Replace underground utilities and structures, an provide regrading, concrete pavement, asphalt pavement, and plantings. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. In accordance with State Finance Law 139-j, all non-technical inquiries regarding this procurement must be directed to Robbilee Luedtke at SUCF.ConstructionBids@suny.edu or for MWBE related issues, Scott Clay at SUCF.OpportunityAdmin@suny.edu . Bids will be opened at SUCF offices in Albany, NY. Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of SUCF Project No 221013-00 titled Campus-Wide Utility Improvements - Water Treatment Building and Elevated Storage Tank and carrying out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: a. General construction work shall include: a. Construction of new buildings: i. Water treatment building ii. Pre-chlorination building b. Construction of an 850,000-gallon water storage tank c. Construction of underground utilities and structures including: i. Storm Sewer ii. Sanitary Sewer iii. Potable Water Distribution d. Connection of utilities to the new water treatment building, new water storage tank, new chemical feed building, and to site utility tie in locations as shown in the drawings. e. Site regrading f. Asphalt paving g. Site furnishings h. Landscaping, trees, plantings b. Electrical work shall include: a. Permeant electric service including all related site work. b. Emergency generator installation and related work c. Power distribution panels and equipment. d. Electric power and control wiring for building systems. e. Electric power and control wiring for all process equipment, instrumentation, HVAC equipment and accessories. f. Light fixtures and associated wiring. g. Underground conduit and cable installation h. Misc. power as shown on the drawings c. Mechanical work shall include: a. Fans b. Unit Heaters c. Louvers d. Duct work e. Associated controls d. Plumbing work shall include: a. Floor drain and drain piping |
