Description | NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Perris Union High School District ("District") is requesting proposals (RFP) from qualified contractors for services of the following public-works project ("Project"): E-RATE RFP #020223-05 - PUHSD Structured Cabling Services Site Location California Military Institute (CMI) 755 North A Street Perris, CA 92570 DESCRIPTION OF JOB: Provide all cabling, labor, equipment, supplies, and miscellaneous material to install for re-cabling of certain buildings throughout the district, including new IDF Location w/rack or cabinet, and relocating/remounting outdoor Access point location. All notices, clarifications, and addenda to the RFP docs will be distributed via the aforementioned website. The District shall not be responsible for sending individual notification of changes or updates to any respondents. It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to remain apprised of changes to the RFP docs. Questions regarding this RFP may be directed in writing only, via email, to Sylvia Hinojosa at sylvia.hinojosa@puhsd.org. Questions will be accepted no later than the close of business (4:00 P.M.) on Monday, January 23, 2023. LABOR LAW: The Project is a "public work" project that is subject, among other provisions, to Labor Code Sections 1720 through 1861, inclusive. As described in the Instructions For Bidders, each contractor (including subcontractors) must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") in accordance with Labor Code Section 1725.5, and proposers must provide evidence of registration for themselves and their subcontractors. Each worker on the Project must be paid not less than the applicable prevailing rates of per-diem wages in the locality in which the Work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the Contract ("Prevailing Wages"). A copy of the applicable rates of Prevailing Wages can be found on the California Department of Industrial Relations' website. The Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. The successful bidder will be required to post all job-site notices required by DIR regulations and other applicable law. If so specified in the Special Provisions, the District will conduct a mandatory conference for the purpose of describing labor-law requirements. RETENTION: Substitution of securities in lieu of retention, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, will be permitted as provided in the General Provisions. DEFINED TERMS: Capitalized terms used, but not defined, in this Notice Inviting Request for Proposals shall have the meanings ascribed to such terms in other of the RFP Documents. |
