Description | Reference Number 0000324763 It is the purpose and intent of this contract to provide maintenance of traffic signal systems as required in these specifications for those systems owned and operated by the Township of Woodbridge within its borders. The scope of this contract does not include traffic signals located within the Township of Woodbridge that are owned by other parties. Question Acceptance Deadline 07/27/2023 04:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes *The services required under this contract shall include two functions: -Preventive maintenance service, inspection and minor repairs to existing traffic signals of the Township of Woodbridge. Inspection and routine maintenance will be performed on an annual basis on all signals and flashing beacons. -Emergency maintenance service and repair of all traffic signals within the Township of Woodbridge. This emergency service shall be provided within 2 hours of the notification of the need for emergency repair. Purchase Type Duration: 2 years Option: 1 year extension Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to the Owner Successful bidder shall simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. The successful bidder shall with the delivery for the performance bond submit anexecuted payment bond to guarantee payment to laborers and suppliers for the labor and material 5 used in the work performed under the contract. Upon acceptance of the work by the Owner, the contractor shall submit a maintenance bond (N.J.S.A. 40A:1-16.3) in an amount not to exceed 100% of the project costs guaranteeing against defective quality of work or materials for the period of: 1 Year 2 Years |
