Description

The City will require that any contractor who submits a bid for this solicitation provide separate costs for each site (700 Main St and 901.5 Jernigan St) and a total (summation) of cost as outlined in the Bid Form included in this package. Any bid that does not include a separate cost proposal for each site may not be considered. It is the Citys intention to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the total cost of the project. Following the closing time for the receipt of bids no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. 1.2 Scope of Work The City will require that any contractor who submits a bid for this solicitation provide separate costs for each site (700 Main St and 901.5 Jernigan St) and a total (summation) of cost as outlined in the Bid Form included in this package. Any bid that does not include a separate cost proposal for each site may not be considered. It is the Citys intention to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the total cost of the project. 1.2a 700 Main St Water Plant 1 1.2a.1 The City is soliciting bids for demolition and removal services to include all work necessary for razing and the complete demolition of an existing public utility (water production) facility. This will include buildings, structures, foundations, paving (asphalt, concrete, aggregate), sidewalks, fencing, piping, masonry, steel, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other site improvements that are part of any building or parcel of land associated with this project in accordance with this bid and the special conditions therein.
