Andruss Library Roof Replacement

Work included under this Project consists of replacement and rehabilitation of existing roof systems at Harvey A. Andruss Library at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. The Work generally includes replacement of existing EPDM membrane roofing systems, rehabilitation of existing EPDM membrane roofing systems through recoating with liquid-applied roofing along with the replacement of existing damaged polyisocyanurate insulation and associated EPDM roof membrane identified on the drawings, replacement of existing stone parapet caps with metal coping, replacement of metal flashings and roof drains and other associated improvements. Associated improvements include replacement of an existing aluminum storefront entrance with an aluminum storefront window and composite metal wall panel infill. Remediation of an existing water intrusion issue at the aluminum storefront entrance will be addressed through replacement of head flashing at the opening and installation of proper flashings at the existing parapet caps to be replaced above. Other associated improvements include modifications to existing exterior concrete masonry unit veneer to permit raising of existing thru-wall flashings, repair/replacement of existing steel equipment supports and removal/re-installation/re-certification of the existing roof level lightning protection system.
