South Oldham High School Football Field Lighting

The Oldham County Board of Education will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for the performance of all work required for the South Oldham High School Football Field Lighting. You are invited to submit a sealed bid, subject to the terms and conditions of this invitation to bid. Please read the instructions and specifications carefully. Failure to comply with these instructions may disqualify your bid. The Board of Education cannot assume the responsibility for any delay as a result of failure of the U.S. Postal Service or any other delivery services to deliver bids on time. Fax bids are not acceptable. Bid forms must be complete, all blanks filled in. Digital plans and specifications (CD or download) are also available to be purchased from the Lynn Imaging. Contact the Lynn Imaging, 11460 Bluegrass Parkway, Louisville, KY 40299, (502) 485-8404 for the purchase price of digital documents Bid Documents may also be reviewed at plan rooms. Bidders are responsible to contact the Lynn Imaging for information about plan rooms that have been provided with Bid Documents. Digital files (.pdf format) received from Lynn Imaging are for bidding and construction purposes only for the above reference project. Any contractor or supplier using these files must be aware that these files are the property of CMTA, Inc., their consultants and Oldham County Schools and are only intended for use for bidding and completion of the current project. Bid Guaranty in the form of a certified/Cashier's Check or Bid Bond shall accompany each bid. The amount of the Bid Guaranty shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the bid set forth on the Form of Proposal. The Bid Guaranty shall be issued by a Surety Company that has an A.M. Best Company rating of "A-" or better. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after designated time for receipt of bids. Envelopes containing bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope that a bid is enclosed and title of the bid. Bids mailed or delivered by courier shall be inserted into two envelopes, with the inner envelope containing the bid. Addenda will be issued via email, facsimile, mail, or digital download as determined by Ly15202nn Imaging. Submit written requests to the Engineer for clarification of any part of the Contract Documents, for interpretation and correction of any ambiguity, inconsistencies or errors therein. All interpretations and corrections will be included by Addendum, issued by the Engineer. Written requests may be forwarded up to 2-calendar days before the final Addendum is distributed. The final Addendum will be distributed 6-calendar days before the Bid Date. Only a written interpretation or correction by Addendum shall be binding. No Bidder shall rely upon interpretations or corrections given by any other method. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner, and to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the contract documents
