Lift Station S-27 Rehabilitation

The project consists of the rehabilitation of Lift Station S-27 at the intersection of Tradewinds Drive and Windward Way. The lift station will have the pumps, riser pipes, guide rails removed from the wet well and the wet well will be lined with a fiberglass liner. The wet well rehabilitation will also include the installation of a new top slab with an approved safety hatch and vent. The riser pipes will be HDPE. The below grade valve vault, valves, and emergency pump out connection will be removed and new above grade piping, valving, and emergency pump out connection will be installed. New electrical and instrumentation panels will be installed and the existing panels will be salvaged and returned to the County. The lift station will be taken offline during construction and a temporary bypass section and pumping will be required. A temporary connection to the existing 4-inch force main will be made with the rehabilitation of the lift station and above grade piping are complete. Lift station rehabilitation includes all appurtenances including but not limited to: piping, valves, bends, restraint joints, and flange connections, and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
