Description

Property Location: • 316 S. Linden St; Marshall, MI 49068 A. All portions of the building shall be demolished and removed including masonry basement walls, footings, and floor. This includes all asphalt and concrete paving. No wood, metal, glass, plastic, rubber, asphaltic, synthetic, or similar materials may be buried. B. Excavation shall be filled with clean inorganic fill, compacted in levels not exceeding twenty-four (24) inches. The uppermost two (2) feet shall be free of any stones larger than 1” in diameter. C. Finish/Backfill Backfill with gravel, the final four (4) inches of fill shall consist of clean top soil neatly graded and raked to match the existing contour of the site. Due to weather conditions, grass seeding and covering with straw or other natural material sufficient to minimize soil erosion will be required to be done in the spring of 2022. The City and Contractor will agree upon a set amount of payment to be held back at the completion of demolition for seeding. D. Special Caution In the basement of the structure is a fuel oil tank. It is unknown of the contents and quantity.
