BASH Pesticide Application

Requirement is for Pesticide and Herbicide Application Services at Join Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph, TX. The contractor shall provide non-personal services, that shall include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide a broadcast spray of pesticide, herbicide and insecticide at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph (JBSA RAN), the purpose of which is to mitigate to the maximum extent possible the risk of bird aircraft strike hazards (BASH), by the selection of a monoculture of a native grass species or a natural mix of grass species that are not bird food attractants. All work shall be performed in accordance with industry and commercial practices, using commercial/industry standard products, equipment, materials, supplies and tools. Copies of all required licenses, certificates and permits shall be provided to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) prior to the start of the contract. The contractor shall comply with applicable federal, regional, state, and local laws as well as commercial standards to include obtaining required licenses, certificates and permits.
