Nuisance Abatement Program Commercial and Residential Asbestos Surveys and Post Abatement Verification Inspections I 2020

To provide the professional services to determine and document the presence of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), both friable and non-friable forms, in approximately 65 residential structures. The Contractor will locate and identify ACM within structures and any appurtenances and contents, take an adequate number of samples to identify ACM, sample and analyze suspect materials in an accredited lab, and provide a written Survey Report for each structure. The survey process includes the taking and submission of photographs of potential ACM depicting where the material was sampled. The Contractor must be licensed and certified by the State of Ohio and is responsible for supplying all tools, labor and materials for the proposed asbestos surveys in accordance with all local, state and federal requirements. Any Contractors with open, active demolition or asbestos removal contracts with the Department of Planning & Community Development, Division of Housing Conservation are ineligible to bid on this project.
