Scope of Services: The work shall consist of, but is not limited to, the contractor supplying the labor, equipment, superintendence, material, etc. to perform patching of asphaltic concrete roadway or parking lot failures and sealing cracks on existing asphalt streets within the incorporated limits of Lafayette. The project will also include work to be done on an as needed, on-call basis. LCG will utilize a minimum of 16 tons or 30 square yards per call out. Removal and disposal of existing in-place material shall be the contractor's responsibility. The contract begins within ten (10) working days from the receipt of the "Notice to Proceed" and extends through August 31, 2024 with an option to renew September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025 at the mutual agreement of owner and contractor and at the same price, terms and conditions. Bids in the amounts specified above which have not bid in accordance with the requirements, shall be rejected and shall not be read. The Lafayette Consolidated Government strongly encourages the participation of DBEs (Disadvantaged Business Enterprises) in all contracts or procurements let by the Lafayette Consolidated Government for goods and services and labor and material.
