Description

The existing Town Hall roof was installed in 2001 and has a 20-year warranty. The roof type is currently built-up bitumous type. The granules on the granulated top cap sheets are washing off, causing the system to lose its UV protection. This is causing UV degradation allowing alligatoring, blistering, and crazing to develop. The existing roof will be completely removed and replaced with built-up bitumenous roofing with a 25-year warranty As of April 19, 2023, this project is included in the Town of Windsor's FY 2023-2028 Budget CIP and funding is allotted for construction in FY 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
