Description | Contract Award Date: Sep 27, 2023 Contract Award Number: W9123623C2002 Task/Delivery Order Number: Contractor Awarded Unique Entity ID: DMFWBVTL9324 Contractor Awarded Name: WALSH FEDERAL LLC Contractor Awarded Address: Chicago, IL 60607 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $66,499,000.00 This project will provide a 70,500 square-foot, eight-bay Training Support Squadron Facility (TRSS-F). Construction includes compacted fill above the 100-year flood plain, reinforced concrete foundations, concrete floor slab, structural steel frame with concrete masonry unit facade, and standing seam metal roof. The facility will provide all necessary spaces to house academic (classroom) and equipment (simulator) instruction, equipment/computer support, staff space, restrooms, briefing rooms, and building systems support. Construction also incorporates a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) that must be constructed in accordance with National Counterintelligence and Security Center IC Tech Spec - for ICD/ICS 705. The project includes all utilities, site improvements, detection/protection features, security enhancements and other supporting work necessary to make a complete and useable facility. The facility must be able to withstand seismic and wind effects as prescribed in applicable codes and design guides. Utilities to include the development and support to long-run outside plant communications. The project also includes emergency generators, site improvements, special foundations above mean high tide sea level, parking, and all necessary supporting facilities. |
