Description | The Hancock County Commission is taking bids for the recap of the current parking lot and driveway of the Animal Shelter located at 715 Gas Valley Road, New Cumberland, WV 26047. o Prepare existing concrete driveway (approx. 2,100 sq. ft.) o Prepare existing asphalt parking lot (approx. 6,000 sq. ft.) o Apply 2" of asphalt over existing asphalt parking lot. Page 2 of 7 o Apply 2" to 3" of asphalt over existing concrete driveway. o Apply new line markings and layout. o Perform all work in strict accordance with the manufacturer's printed specifications. o Perform all work only on a weekend to minimize disruption to county services. The bidder's attention is directed to the fact that all applicable State laws, municipal ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction shall apply to the award throughout, and they will be deemed to be included in the bid document the same as though herein written out in full. At the time of the opening of the solicitation each bidder must have inspected the work area and to have read and to be thoroughly familiar with the plans and contract documents (including all addenda). The failure or omission of any bidder to examine any form, instrument or document shall in no way relieve any bidder from any obligation in respect of his bid. If the awarded bidder is unable to meet the requirements of the County, services/products may be purchased from the next best available bidder and continue until a bidder is found that can complete the requirements of the County. Awarded bidder(s) will be notified after the Commission meeting on Thursday, August 25, 2022 Awarded bidder(s) MUST sign contract agreement before commencing work. Awarded bidder(s) MUST submit a completed W-9. The Hancock County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and request new bids. |
