First Floor Small Meeting Room and Lighting Replacement

The General Construction project includes the renovation of a small portion of the First Floor Library space, including the construction of a new partition, minor ceiling work, painting and HVAC/sprinkler reconfiguration, plus replacement of lighting fixtures on the First and Second floors. The project shall include one new door, door frame / interior window frame and finish hardware, acoustic ceiling system, painting and resilient base at new room. Lighting replacement shall be required as part of the Base Bid and also as Two Alternates for other locations throughout the building. The renovated area has recently received new carpet tile flooring, and incidental removal/replacement of material will be required. The Library will provide replacement tiles. The Library will provide new furniture and book stacks via separate New York State contract - coordination with the Furniture Contract is required for scheduling. The work of the successful bidder must be coordinated with the Library who will be occupying the building throughout the project. Entrances, hallways and fire exits must be kept clear of work during normal hours of operation.
