Description | The Second Level of the parking garage has an area where the concrete has spalled on the deck above. The contractor is to provide the labor and material to remove all spalled concrete from the areas to be repaired using hand tools, power brushes and pneumatic hammers not exceeding 15 lbs. Repair type #1: (Approx. 100 Sq. ft.) Remove all spalled and loose concrete from the areas to be patched. Patch with an epoxy bonding mixture that is recommended for overhead use and applied per manufacturer’s instructions. This work shall be measured and cost estimated based on a per square foot basis. Repair type #2 (Approx. 75 Sq. ft.) Remove all spalled and loose concrete from the areas to be repaired. Where reinforcing is exposed, remove all loose rust and scale from same. Reinforcing shall be primed with a rust inhibitor and the area patched with and epoxy bonding mixture that is recommended for overhead use and applied as per the manufacturer’s instructions. This work shall be measured and cost estimated on a square foot basis. |
