Description

Seeking proposals from qualified, government experienced, professional engineering firms to act as “on-call” technical experts for municipal engineering work, for an initial term ending June 30th , 2024, with the City’s option to renew for two (2) additional, one (1) year terms. Specifically, the City desires the successful offerors be professional civil engineering consultant engineering firms with expertise in municipal engineering. Professional services will be used for special projects and to supplement the City’s technical staff. Environmental, flood control, sanitary sewer, transportation, and land development engineering experience in coastal communities is preferred. Work may range from major watershed/sewer system analyses to review of small subdivision development plans. In addition to design and study work, consultants may be asked to provide budget estimates and schedules; develop long range plans to meet environmental mandates; perform inspections; and provide public education and Council briefings on technical issues.
