Parking Lot Rehab - Ma

This contract is for construction services for the rehabilitation of a portion of the parking lot. The project consists of removal of asphalt pavement, regrading and compacting the base material, construct a concrete pad from the front of the hatchery building to the trench drain, and pave the remainder of the area as shown on the map in Appendix 1. The area of the parking lot to be paved has several manhole covers (2) to grade and several valve risers to grade (4). There is a network of underground drain and water supply lines that should not be impacted by the proposed work. An informational map of estimated locations of all underground infrastructure in the area of proposed work will be provided after contract award. There is an existing slotted trench drain that shall remain that runs approximately 75% of the parking lot (Refer to App. 1). The new pavement and concrete pad shall be sloped to drain storm water runoff to the trench drain.
