Description | Estimated construction cost is 5-6 million. For New Outdoor Swimming Facility Project will be constructed under one (1) prime lump-sum contract. Electronic Documents: Electronic copies of the Bid Documents and any Addenda are available by request to docs@kmetizarchitects.com. Requests shall include Company Name, Mailing Address, Phone and Fax Numbers, and Contact Name for plan holder registration. 1. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid amount proposed, must accompany bids. 2. Selected Bidder will be required to provide satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond covering the full performance of the Contract. 3. selected Bidder must assure that all persons employed by Bidder, and all applicants for such employment, will not be discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. 4. The City of Ottawa encourages minority business firms to submit Bids and the successful contract Bidder to use minority businesses as Subcontractors for suppliers, equipment, services and construction. 5. The Contractor shall conform to the requirements of a Responsible Bidder as defined by City of Ottawa Ordinance No. 28-2010. All Contractors and Subcontractors must register ($100.00 fee) annually to work in the City of Ottawa. Contractors must also furnish a license and a $10,000.00 permit bond. 6. No Illinois O.E. sales tax will be required for this work. 7. Selected Bidder shall be required to pay prevailing rates of wages to all employees engaged in the project work. Such prevailing rates shall be as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. 8. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bidding and to award a contract in their own best interests. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
