Youth Baseball and Softball Field Upgrades

Field 1 Majors Field (left-most field with fence around it) • Current condition is a ~60' base path with ~46' pitching distance. • Modify to 70’ base path with 50' pitching distance • As shown (p.2, 4) in the attached brochure, maintain availability of 46’/60’ for the younger kids • Dimensions of modified field are detailed in attached brochure. o Remove sod, loam and sub soil 1’ depth. o Install 8” new gravel, 4” new clay (baseball mix) o Recut sod edges on field, top existing clay with 1” new clay o Remove sprinkler heads • Labor and equipment at prevailing rates • Include materials Field 2 (middle field), convert to a softball field with the existing dimensions. • Remove loam and subsoil to 1’ • Install 8” new gravel, 4” clay (baseball mix) • Recut sod edges, top brush existing clay with 1” new clay • No changes to sprinklers • Labor and equipment at prevailing rates • Include materials
